Proper body alignment is key to increasing physical well being as well as keeping us safe as we flow through our yoga practice. Classes develop strong postural alignment, fluid deep breaths, creating community and bring our minds attention within to help us take on life's challenges on and off the mat. This practice is best for those in good health or have yoga experience and enjoy classes designed to tone and build strength. This class is open to the public. Gentle yoga is perfect for those wanting a smooth flowing practice full of modifications for those recovering from injuries or need more assistance. We focus on lightly toning our bodies, working on simple balancing poses, full breathing all while centering our mind and energizing our spirits. You will be under the guidance of the very experienced yoga educator, Lara Ward as she safely teaches you postural alignment, breathing practices all while creating a community . This practice is best for those new to yoga or have experience yet are seeking a mild practice designed to keep the body flexible and mobile without the challenges of more vigorous practice. BREEZY SUMMER FLOW
Wed 6:30-7:30pm June 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 at the Jewish Community Ctr 9 Route 39, Sherman (south of the American Pie)
Breezy summer flow yoga will begin on our mats releasing the day from our body & mind through easy movement linking breath and body. We’ll stand for balance and warrior vinyasa finishing each night with deep stretches preparing us for a good night’s sleep. This class is right those new to yoga ready for movement as well as yoga regulars who enjoy alignment blended with flow. Rates and registration link at jccinsherman.org

Uniting breath and body will be how we begin our class time together. Our practice will be gently flowing poses moving into toning poses to keep our bodies aligned and balanced. We will end each practice in deep guided relaxation. Please bring a yoga mat and any props you may have. Summer Series: July 1, 8, 15 & 22

Move through gentle flowing stretches that help restore flexibility while toning the body. Each class will unite movement and breathing together through fluid poses designed specifically to keep the body supple and strong. This class is perfect for those new to yoga as well as yoga regulars who love simple yet effective poses to align and release tension from the back, neck and shoulders. Please bring a yoga mat.
