Intro to Flow is a class designed to teach the basics of yoga breathing, postures and relaxation.  This class is just right for those brand new to yoga and those with some yoga experience who prefer a milder class then our Mon & Thurs class.  This class is open to the public.

Cost: $70 for 5 * pre-registration Highly Recommended!

 

Align, Tone & Flow Yoga

Mondays & Thursdays 9-10:15am

This class is held year round with No Classes Memorial and Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years Day

Proper body alignment is key to increasing physical well being as well as keeping us safe as we flow through our yoga practice. Some classes focus on alignment and others on fluid poses, yet each class will bring our minds attention within to help us take on life's challenges on and off the mat. This practice is best for those in good health or have yoga experience and enjoy classes designed to tone and build strength.  This class is open to the public.

Move through gentle flowing stretches that help restore flexibility while toning the body.  Each class will bring movement and breathing together through fluid poses designed specifically to keep the body supple and strong. This class is perfect for those new to yoga as well as regulars who love simple yet effective poses to align and release tension form the back, neck and shoulders.  Please bring a yoga mat.

Private Group Classes are yoga classes on your groups schedule.  Whether you are a small group of 4 or tribe of 20 - select a day, time and location and we will bring the yoga experience. 

Your Private Yoga Practice are sessions designed just for you. Whether learning the basics is your goal or moving your practice to a higher level, a program will be designed specifically for you.  A variety of yoga styles are offered:  Gentle, Therapeutic, Hatha, Ashtanga, Meditation, Power, Restorative, Vinyasa Flow, Yin or Power.  And if you don't know what style, your very experienced teacher,  Lara Ward will design andguide you through an appropriate style for your level of ability.  Lara will guide you into breathing techniques, appropriate postures blended with relaxation techniques.  You are welcome to request deeper aspects of yoga philosophy, energy work and/or meditation depending upon personal interests.  Private sessions are by appointment only and maybe held in your home or at the Jewish Community Center in Sherman.  First session 90 minutes $125 with follow up 60 minute sessions $90.

Classes are taught by Lotus Gardens, LLC Founder & Director Lara Azzarito Ward.  Lara has been a Yoga Alliance Experienced 500 Yoga Teacher with over 25 years guiding clients into the world of yoga.  She holds licenses in CT & NY in Massage Therapy.  She is honored to be an Adjunct Professor at WCSU, a member of the Advisory Board for WCSU's Institute of Holistic Health Board, and has worked with cardiac rehab. departments at Danbury & New Milford Hospitals as well as most of the major corporations in the greater Danbury area.
