Lotus Gardens, LLC

is the creation of Lara Azzarito Ward, LMT, E-RYT 500, BBA, BA. 
Lara Ward began offering public, private and gym yoga in the 80s.  For two decades, she brought weekly corporate yoga sessions to Boehringer Ingelheim, Cartus, Duracell, Ethan Allen, Honeywell, Kimberly Clarke, Praxair, Scholastic, United Technologies as well as Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital and MS Society of CT.  
As yoga became a health sensation, Lara expanded to open one of the first comparative theory Yoga Teacher Trainings in the country and became a Yoga Alliance registered 200 hour teacher training.  The program continued to grow and Lotus Gardens, LLC and Lotus Gardens Yoga School (originally named The Yoga Community) were born.  Today Lotus Gardens,  LLC has certified over 375 yoga teachers who now bring yoga through out the world. 

Today, Lara is an adjunct Professor for WCSU's Health Science and Promotion Department.  She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute of Holistic Health bring programs such as Bernie Siegel to WCSU, Multicultural Perspectives on Meditation, Holistic Health Panel and is excited about the 2017 offerings.  

Lara teaches advanced level yoga certifications for Seniors and Chair Yoga, Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga, Yin and Acupressure Yoga, Anatomy for Yoga Teachers and co-instructs Reflexology for Yoga Teachers offered by Lotus Gardens, LLC..  As is a licensed Massage Therapist in NY & CT,  Lara is able to share her experience and knowledge of yoga, kineseology, massage therapy and reflexology to her clients and students.
